Infinity Development & Construction has grown quickly in a competitive Florida market, but its rise has been shaped less by scale than by a mindset: quality is non-negotiable, safety is embedded in every task, and communication is the backbone of every client relationship. Based in Tampa, the company has expanded from four employees in 2024 to a team of ten today, evidence of a trajectory built on deliberate choices and sustained performance.

According to Chief Development Officer Luis Amed Bustamante, this growth is rooted in intentional systems rather than chance. At the leadership level, Infinity solicits detailed client feedback to evaluate how jobs unfolded and where processes can improve. At the individual level, each employee is encouraged to take ownership of their work, to maintain quality standards, and to put safety at the forefront. These habits, Bustamante said, create the longevity needed for Infinity to extend its work beyond Florida as opportunities arise.
Infinity began in 2018 as a rough carpentry company. From the start, it was designed to meet market needs quickly and adapt to demand. After entering supplementary framing work, the firm soon found itself taking on ground-up wood-framing services. Over the years, this foundation allowed the company to layer in interior trim work, door installation, and other key services, building a portfolio that reflects both market awareness and operational agility.
Around a year ago, the team conducted a comprehensive study of its bids and proposals to understand where they were losing work and why. The results were telling. “The majority of them, I would say the feedback for not getting the job was because we were doing labor only,” Bustamante explained. Even when Infinity’s pricing and labor qualifications were within the top three, a competitor offering both labor and materials would often be selected.
This marked a turning point. After reviewing the data, Infinity adjusted its model to ensure materials could be offered as part of future bids. “We were able to tell the general contractors in our proposals, ‘Okay, we do the lumber too,’” Bustamante said. “That was a big turnaround and benchmark in our growth.”
Infinity’s client base is broad, ranging from residential developers to commercial contractors, all attracted by a service model built on reliability and communication. The company handles rough carpentry, finish carpentry, door and window installation, drywall installation, demolition, and siding. Much of its appeal lies in how consistently it keeps clients informed—something that has become a signature part of the company’s identity.

One example is Infinity’s daily manpower reports, which update clients on labor counts, material deliveries, weekly tasking, and photographic progress. “Any issue that we encounter, the client will have a progress report,” Bustamante said. Clients typically recognize the difference immediately. “Customers will usually realize within the first week that these guys are actually about communicating. These guys are about getting things clearer.”
The idea for the manpower report originated during a project in Sarasota. Before beginning roofing work, a superintendent asked how many people the job would require. Bustamante estimated between eight and ten daily, but after three days, the installer observed that only four were needed for that phase. When the project manager later asked why eight people weren’t present, Bustamante recognized the challenge. Although the explanation made sense, the lack of visibility created confusion. The solution was straightforward: daily reporting. “Communication is key,” he said.
Infinity’s résumé now includes more than $150 million in completed projects, supported by four major service streams: wood framing for everything from custom homes to large five-story structures; doors and interior trim with a focus on multifamily; subcontracted drywall installation with a single point of contact; and siding services for multifamily, residential, and commercial projects. These are strengthened by the company’s commitment to efficiency and consistent quality, helping general contractors maintain predictable scopes and steady progress.
“Customers will usually realize within the first week that these guys are actually about communicating. These guys are about getting things clearer.”
Two recent projects illustrate Infinity’s evolving capabilities. The Inspiration Apartment Project in Fort Myers encompassed 298 units across three four-story buildings, where Infinity provided rough carpentry services. The development includes one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments alongside a clubhouse, pool, and maintenance building. For the Taverna Apartment Project, also in Fort Myers, Infinity delivered finish carpentry for 254 units, installing interior doors, structural columns, baseboards, and other high-end details within a luxury community that features a fitness center, pool, and business area.
As Infinity looks ahead, its growth strategy rests on several key pillars. The first is turnkey project delivery, supported by streamlined processes, consistent quality, and the use of a single point of contact throughout construction. The second is service expansion, building upon the company’s seven years of diversification and aiming to capture more opportunities across the industry. Third, Infinity hopes to pursue territorial growth, establishing relationships in North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. The fourth pillar focuses on advanced framing practices, including panelized systems and emerging technologies that benefit clients. The final pillar emphasizes technology and safety enhancements, incorporating tools that increase operational efficiency and improve safety practices across the workforce.
Bustamante stresses that these ambitions will always be tied back to communication and quality. Recently, a Sarasota client offered feedback that underscores the company’s reputation: “You guys were not the cheapest, but your three references are guys that I definitely respect.” For Infinity, this kind of trust signals the strength of its model; one where clear communication, dependable craftsmanship, and steady leadership combine to support long-term growth.
Built on deliberate choices and shaped by a culture of accountability, Infinity Development & Construction is preparing to expand well beyond its Tampa roots. With a decade of evolution behind it and a team that believes in the fundamentals of quality and clarity, the company enters its next chapter with confidence, committed to maintaining high standards as it grows and ready to bring its model of communication-driven construction to new markets.
